As a lifelong enthusiast of technology, my aspirations have always gravitated towards knowing more about the dynamic realm of computer science. My curiosity in understanding them deeply took a concrete shape when I worked on an assignment for my subject of Computers at high school, wherein I researched and experimented with various fields in Information Technology, Computer Science, and programming, trying to learn beyond the realm of the general science subjects taught at high school and discovering where my interests lie. This short-term project not only introduced me to an array of skills and subjects, but also empowered me with the necessary knowledge and a deeper understanding of the various facets of computer science, algorithms, and programming.

 

My academic expedition began at North Carolina State University, wherein I immersed myself in the sphere of computer science. From composing interactive web solutions to delving deeper into the complex world of game development, artificial intelligence, and software development. Each endeavor has been a stepping stone, crafting me into a better computer scientist. It is not only the technical know-how that has sculpted me into who I am today but also some key life lessons like being more disciplined with time and health, managing money, dealing with people from different cultures, and being more patient in any adverse situation. It has helped me better as an individual.

 

However, there is an ocean to cross over. With the evolution of technology, our world moves towards automation, and artificial intelligence is on the rise. As a result, there will be more opportunities for computer scientists to create and improve artificial intelligence. My interest lies in learning about the adoption and applications of AI.

 

Moving forward, my immediate objective is an MS in Computer Science, which is a rapidly evolving field with immense potential for growth and learning. Having completed my academics, I would want to pursue a career under the aegis of my father, who has taken his company to the top 100 companies in Gujarat. I certainly would like to ramp up on that and make it reach the top 100 companies milestone in India.
